Crystal Palace have this last hour confirmed the arrival of Luka Milivojevic from Olympiacos for an undisclosed fee.

The 25 year old’s arrival at the club on deadline day was confirmed in the media earlier this evening with with games going on tonight, Palace officially confirmed him on Crystal Palace FC just after the final whistle.

He began with hometown club Radnicki Kragujevac and the Serbian midfielder moves onto Rad and Red Star Belgrade before joining Belgian side Anderlecht in 2013. One season in Belgium saw him make the switch to Greek side Olympiacos in 2014 and he’s gained 19 caps for his country.

He comes into Palace on a three and a half year deal and manager Sam Allardyce was pleased with his capture.

‘I am delighted to bring Luka to the club. He has experience in UEFA Champions League and International football and will add a new dimension to our midfield. He is a talented two footed player with intelligent passing ability as well as being very strong defensively, in and out of possession.’

Speaking himself after his move, the player was looking forward to his new adventure.

‘I`m very excited to come to Crystal Palace and very excited to play in the Premier League, which is one of the best leagues in the world. I will try to do my best, to give my best for the team and to adapt to the league and my new team as fast as possible.’

He added.

‘I`m a defensive midfielder, I`m the one who tries to control the game and bring balance to the team. I will try to do my best and bring my qualities as soon as possible. This year I`ve scored six goals in 17 games – which is a little bit strange for me! I`ve been a success this year at Olympiacos. In the league I`ve played nearly every game, I`ve only missed one and that was due to suspension because of the cards.’
