To coin the clichéd phrase, ‘you don’t get any easy games’, which Palace’s FA Cup third round meeting with Dover on Sunday wasn’t but it certainly saw us encounter much few problems than we expected as we ran out four-nil winners at the Crabble on Sunday afternoon….
Going into the game the Dover manager said that his side would give us a game and no matter what ‘keep it tight at the back’…. oops!
We can’t, with all due respect to Dover, go overboard following this win but it’s a good win and a good way to start the spell at Palace for new manager Alan Pardew but who was our ‘Man of the Match’ in this game?
