Neil Warnock has offered striker Stern John a 12-month deal – after holding talks yesterday.
The 32-year-old is a free agent after his contract with the Saints had expired.
The striker travelled to the club’s Beckenham base yesterday to talk terms.
John is expected to make a decision on his future next week – and does have a number of other options.
But it is understood he is keen to work with Warnock.
