Palace’s Pre-Season Schedule Begins To Take Shape

|

Crystal Palace confirmed yesterday that we would face Reading in a first-team pre-season friendly.

Roy Hodgson’s boys will travel to the Madejski Stadium on Saturday, July 28 for the 3pm kickoff and it will be the first meeting between the sides since Palace took a 2-0 victory in the FA Cup quarter-final affair back in March 2016.

Ticket details will be announced shortly and it should be an interesting test as Paul Clement will be looking to see them start brightly after a disappointing season that saw them finish 20th in the Championship table.

As is usual for Palace, there are also some mixed XI friendlies being set up that will feature Under 23 players as well as seniors.

Palace XI pre-season friendlies:

Tuesday 17th July v Bromley (A – 7.45pm)
Tuesday 24th July v Stevenage (A – 7.45pm)
Tuesday 31st July v Boreham Wood (A – 7.30pm)
Tuesday 7th August v Kingstonian (A – 7.45pm)

Ticket details will also be announced in due course.

Fans are obviously hoping to learn of the plum home time for this pre-season.
