39 year old Kevin Phillips has said he intends to continue playing for at least one more year.
Speaking to Sky Sports Phillips explained.
‘If we go up, if something is offered to me, I’ll seriously consider it. I’d imagine that I’ll be playing for one more year, without a shadow of a doubt. I feel good, and I think I’ve certainly shown this year that I can do a job coming off the bench.’
With Glenn Murray out for a least 6 months, Palace retaining the option of Phillip’s goal threat plus his experience, whether from the bench or not, could be a very important option for us next year – irrespective of promotion.
