It’s midweek Premier League action this week, meaning Palace are back in action with us facing a home game.

Crystal Palace welcome Aston Villa to Selhurst Park this evening as we look to stretch and unbeaten run since the return from the international break, and get back to winning ways after the weekend draw.

With Dwight Gayle forced off in the draw with Swansea City in the first half of our one-one draw at the Liberty Stadium at the weekend it’s looking unlikely that he’ll be fit to feature. Fraizer Campbell is likely to step in but Wilfried Zaha is also chasing a recall.

Damien Delaney (calf) and Adrian Mariappa (knee) will again miss out.

Aston Villa have Christian Benteke (suspension) free to return after serving his ban for a sending off against Tottenham Hotspur. Ciaran Clark (blurred vision) should be fit, which they need as Ron Vlaar, Philippe Senderos and Nathan Baker are all still missing.

Palace are looking to build on the run of unbeaten games against Villa, we’ve won three and drawn one of the last four meetings as we look to make it five and stretch the unbeaten run at Selhurst Park even further with us last losing at home in 1998, and only twice in 10 encounters.
