The Premier League season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.
A four point lead does have Chelsea as favourites to win the Premier League but Tottenham are closing in on the Blues.
Sunderland are odds on for relegation with Swansea’s form sending them the same way – Middlesbrough could boost their fading chances with a win on Easter Monday.

A second successive 4-0 win for Tottenham – a seventh victory in a row – was secured when they saw off the challenge for Bournemouth at White Hart Lane in the lunchtime kick off. This moved Spurs to within four points of Chelsea.
Crystal Palace came from two down to secure a 2-2 draw with Leicester at Selhurst Park to move seven points clear of the bottom-three. The Foxes would have moved closer to a top-10 finish had they held on for the win.
An Everton win – aided by a Romelu Lukaku goals, making it nine home games in a row he’s scored – was secure over Burnley to keep the Toffees’ bid for European football alive. The Clarets, 14th, are eight points clear of relegation danger so should stay in the Premier League.
Stoke’s first win in six, 3-1 at the bet365 Stadium should have eased any relegation concerns. Hull, despite a second successive defeat, remain two points above the relegation zone.
The slim Sunderland chances of staying in the Premier League were kept alive by a 90th minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw with West Ham at the Stadium of Light – the Black Cats are nine points from safety with six to play.
Watford’s third win in four keeps them well placed for a top-10 finish. Swansea’s 1-0 defeat – a third in a row, fifth in a six game winless run – at Vicarage Road keeps them 18th, two points behind Hull and Premier League safety.
The Southampton hopes of catching West Brom, ninth, were dealt a blow when beaten 3-0 by Manchester City. This victory at St Mary’s keeps City well placed for a Champions League finish.
Sunday’s lunchtime kick off saw West Brom’s winless run extended to four, the last three have been lost. Liverpool are now seven without defeat and hold a six point lead over Manchester United, fifth.
Manchester United’s hopes of finishing in a Champions League place were boosted by a 2-0 win over Chelsea, which also blew the title-race open again. The Blues still hold a four point lead over Tottenham but have now lost two of the last four.
