The Premier League season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.
Defeat for Tottenham has basically ended their title hopes, Chelsea will move closer with a win in the visit of Middlesbrough on Monday.
Hull slipped below Swansea, back into the bottom-three.

Chelsea v Middlesbrough
Friday probably saw the Premier League title race ended when West Ham ended Tottenham’s nine game winning run with a 1-0 win over Spurs at the London Stadium.
Manchester City closed in on a top-four finish when thrashing Crystal Palace 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium in Saturday’s lunchtime game. Palace, suffering a third straight defeat, are now just four point above the bottom-three.
Bournemouth, twice behind, recorded a 2-2 draw with Stoke at Dean Court – this kept the Cherries a couple of places, and a point, ahead of the Potters, 13th.
Having led at Turf Moor, Burnley then slipped behind before securing a 2-2 draw with West Brom, virtually securing the Clarets’ Premier League safety. Albion, eighth, are now six without a win.
Marco Silva’s first defeat at the KCOM Stadium as Hull boss saw City slip back into the bottom-three when Swansea won later in the day. Already relegated, Sunderland’s 2-0 win was a first in 11 games.
Leicester, of course champions last season, secured their Premier League status with a 3-0 win over Watford, also taking the Foxes up to ninth, at the King Power Stadium. The Hornets, who should be safe, have now lost three in a row.
Premier League safety was put back in the hands of Swansea as a 1-0 win over Everton, a second in the last three, in the late kick off on Saturday to take the Swans up to 17th, a point above the bottom-three. The Toffees, assured of a Europa League spot next season, are now three without a win, having lost the last two.
A missed penalty prevented Liverpool, who did climb back up to third, from virtually confirming a top-four finish. Southampton, up to 10th, will be the much happier of the sides after a 0-0 draw at Anfield.
Arsenal’s faint hopes of securing a top-four finish are still alive following 2-0 win over Manchester United, fifth, who saw their 25 game unbeaten run ended, damaging United’s own hopes of finishing in the Champions League spots.
