Darren Ambrose has signed a new three year contract with the club. Ambrose joined the club last July and scored 20 goals in all competitions in his first season with the club.

Ambrose agreed a move to Neil Warnock’s QPR earlier in the summer but CPFC2010 said NO! on the deal when they agreed to takeover Palace.

Fans wondered whether Ambrose would still go across London but new manager George Burley has managed to convince him to stay.

Ambrose said: “It’s been a hard few months with all the speculation about my future but I am now delighted to be signing this contract.

“I always wanted to remain at this football club.”
