Palace boss Neil Warnock is hoping Alan Lee will be fit to face Plymouth on Saturday.

Lee, who joined Palace from Ipswich before the transfer deadline, has managed just one substitute appearance against Reading before sustaining a hamstring injury .

With Scowcroft and Andrew also out through injury, Warnock is desperate to have at least one recognised frontman available against Argyle.

‘Hopefully Alan Lee will be fit for Saturday, and I think we need him,’ said Warnock.

‘We just don’t have enough strikers, unfortunately. I signed one and then we lose him, so we are a bit unlucky at the minute but that evens itself out over the season.

‘Calvin hurt his knee late on against Swansea and Scowie’s out for a few weeks with his hamstring but Alan has a good chance for Saturday.’
