Moving Swiftly On….

Crystal Palace might have been beaten by Manchester City on Saturday, however there wasn’t much in this at all was there? Only a late winner was the difference between Palace and, already at this stage of the Premier League season, many people’s ‘Champions elect’ Man City!

Without a doubt, as many people have said, we can and should take the positive from this one-nil defeat at Selhurst Park.

Yannick Bolasie, if things had turned out differently and the rumours and speculation had proven true, could have been playing for Tottenham on Sunday as it is he’ll be playing for Palace at White Hart Lane.

Moving ‘swiftly on’ from this defeat is something that Bolasie has told the Croydon Advertiser he feels Palace have to do, and learn something from it late defeat too but all in all ‘that’s football’ for you is his philosophy as he shrugs off that ‘setback’, if you can call it that?

He told the Advertiser.

‘That’s football for you – I think we have just got to learn from it’

‘As the season goes on I think you’re going to get these kind of days, to be honest. We just have to move on.’

Bolasie added, which again is true, we’ve been on the right end of late goals to win games and it ‘happens to everyone’ so you take the rough with the smooth.

Having matched City we move onto ‘and look forward to the next game’ as we look to maintain that amazing away form under Alan Pardew!
