Palace boss Peter Taylor has ruled out a swoop rumor for the toffees keeper Iain Turner, but has stated that Julian Speroni can be replaced as Palace No1.

Speroni was blamed for both Sheffield Utd goals in Saturday’s game and has looked shaky in recent games.

Taylor told the local Guardian ‘Jules started off the season well, but just lately there have been a couple of little errors.

‘He knows the score – if the errors continue then he might be replaced.

‘If a striker doesn’t score a goal there is a chance another striker will come in the goal keeping position is no different.’
