Palace ‘Watch’ French Defender

It is just a ‘luke warm’, at best, link at the moment but reports do connect Palace to highly rated Nice left back Timothée Kolodziejczak.

The Mirror says that West Ham United and Southampton are ‘locked in a signing war’ for the £8m rated defender, previously capped at U21 level for France and ‘tipped’ to be a future full international.

Kolodziejczak will leave Nice this summer, Marseille and Lyon are also interested but Palace’s premier league rivals are thought to be ‘leading the race’ to sign him but Palace did apparently have a scout watching him in action against Guingamp?

Not so sure on this one myself you know.

I’m really not sure how much of a priority Tony Pulis would have a new left back as being this summer but in my honest I would not think it would be a top priority and think it even less likely that Palace would pay £8m for one.

What about you?

I’m sure that he’s a great player in the making but we don’t need another left-back and won’t be coughing up £8m for one.
