Ian Holloway has said that the players will relish our encounter against Watford at Wembley, but our fate is in our own hands.

Speaking to Sky Sports as the build up the Play Off Final starts to get underway, the manager said.

‘It’s a wonderful day for everyone but we have to perform, we hold everyone’s hopes and dreams in our hands. I’ve spoken about who we are up against, what they do, are good at, and how we can stop them. You can never tell how anyone is going to react the scenario of walking out in front of 90,000 at Wembley. But it will be a great game, a well fought battle, a purist’s game – it will be a fantastic final.’

Holloway says he’ll do whatever he can to replicate the spirit of what he fostered in Blackpool’s previous battles, as he’s been there, and has that experience and the more of that he can get over the players the better.

As many have already said themselves as well, Holloway nods to the fact that it would be the perfect send off for Wilf Zaha to play his final game for the club and play a part in helping us achieve promotion.
