Jazz Richards has said Kevin Phillips showed exactly why teams still want to sign him in the game against Watford.
Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser our new loan signing said that at first he didn’t think Zaha was going to pass the ball to him, but when he did and he put the cross in, it was no surprise to see Phillips knock it into the back of the net.
‘He’s still got it. He came on and it was a brilliant finish on the end of the cross. We came out in the second half and showed what we can do.’
Everybody had a boost with our second half performance, and Richards points out that as long as we can start like we finished, we are going to pick the results up to keep our promotion dream alive.
