Stop Criticising Referees Neil!

Steve Parish has said that he feels Neil Warnock should stop being so critical of referees in public.

Perhaps Warnock is right, and has a point, with what he is saying although the Palace chairman feels that perhaps instead of having a positive effect it’s having a negative detrimental one of the club.

Recent comments led to a slap on the wrist from the FA and also landed him with a £9,000 fine with Parish keen for him to focus on winning games and trying to contain his thoughts a little more.

Parish told the London Evening Standard: ‘I don’t think Neil should complain about referees.

‘I’ve told him that. I don’t think it helps us with matches. I don’t think a manager should do anything other than try to help his club.’

Warnock isn’t the type of person to ‘hold his tongue’ is he, but perhaps Parish has something of a point and hopefully the boss can take heed of these thoughts and change the approach slightly going forward….

Parish went on to have plenty of praise for the boss too mind saying he is ‘the easiest manager he’s ever had to chat to’ and one that he feels can stabilise the club and take them onto a Europa League challenge in the future.

At least he feels that we can be challenging for Europe at some point.
