It has been claimed that Palace have joined the clubs that are ‘tracking’ Stephane Badji.
The interest in a midfielder in January is something that we’re well documented to be after as one of the recruitments in the New Year and the Brann midfielder has been getting a fair amount of interest, as far as the reports go anyway!
24-year-old Badji has a release clause of just £750,000 and could be coming to the Premier League in January….
A problem, well one of the problems; that we could have if he is of genuine interest to us is that he could be playing for Senegal at the African Cup of Nations in the early part of the New Year so we wouldn’t be able to call on him for several weeks anyway.
The other problem could be that Newcastle United, Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion have all sent scouts to watch him recently so we have competition for his signature too!
