This game could mark the end of Peter Taylors reign at being manager of Crystal Palace FC.

Its sad really as Peter was a Palace legend to most of us older fans, when he played for us, but that was then, now he is a manager who is slowly losing the respect of most Palace fans.

Just look at various Palace forums , and see what fans are saying, most are hoping he lose’s tonight against Coventry, if it ment he would be sacked.

Are they right? well most pay a small fortune to watch Palace home and away, so I think they do have a right to air their views.

3 defeats in a row, tonights game we must win, we need to kick back up the table, a defeat is no good what so ever……..

Vital Quotes:

‘He inherited a team that was relegation material and took them to the Premiership. We missed out on survival on goal difference.

‘He had three incredibly successful years at the football club, which no one previous or since has got close to emulating. Ninety-nine per cent of Palace fans will believe deep down that Iain Dowie was one of the best things that happened to Crystal Palace.’

Taylor told the Croydon Advertiser: ‘It’s frustrating because that’s three matches that we have lost 1-0. I have been saying the same things after each one.’
